OVERVIEW

Health & Safety

Health and Safety is of utmost importance at Westmade, with the safety of all persons working on or visiting sites being at the forefront of our priority list.

Compliance

We have internal health and safety specialists to ensure we achieve rigorous health and safety standards. They are assisted by an external health and safety consultancy, who assist us in keeping up to date with the latest legislation.

In addition to this, we have internal systems and checks to ensure day-to-day compliance with safety standards.

Training

All employees are required to undertake formal health and safety training on a regular basis, to ensure that they are aware of the required regulations and systems of work. All Sub-contractors used by Westmade are vetted to ensure they comply with health and safety regulations and hold necessary prior to starting on site.

PROJECTS

Recently Completed

Merley First School

This 6-week summer holiday project was for the replacement of domestic services pipework, the hot and cold water system and ancillary works, throughout the school.

The Royal Bath

We have built a great relationship with the Royal Bath Hotel having worked on numerous projects since 2018. The decking replacement is the most recent, which involved removing and replacing the existing decking structure.

Victoria Community Hospital

This case study highlights the successful completion of a refurbishment project at Victoria Hospital in Wimborne. The project involved renovating XRAY rooms 1 & 2, the roof space above, and making alterations to the associated waiting area.

Twynham School

A recently finished project in Christchurch, consisting of the refurbishment of the Jenkins block. The project included complete decoration, new flooring, hygienic wall gladding, new radiators and new led lights.
